John and Dina Kelders along with their 4 children developed a piece of scrub land and gravel pit into one of the premier vacation spots in the Southern Lake Huron area. Rus ton Family Campground
Rus-Ton opened for business in 1987 with 200 campsites, 60 of which were seasonal. Today, twenty years later, we now have a total 240 sites comprised of 220 seasonal and 19 transient sites for those who wish to visit us for a short stay; be it overnight, a weekend or week. All sites are equipped with 30 amp hydro service, water and sewer.
Rus-Ton offers on site management seven days a week, and security guards on weekends. Our on site store offers a variety of grocery items as well as R.V. parts, propane exchange and firewood.
