This Ross Axford designed 18 hole championship layout, is one of Southwestern Ontario's truly scenic courses. This par 71, 6539 yard course has been assigned a G.A.O. (Golf Association of Ontario) slope rating of 133 (highest in Lambton County) and was rated best Golf Course of all Southwestern Courses by the London Free Press in 2003.
Oakwood Resort, Golf, Spa & Conference Centre Golf: The golf course at the Oakwood Resort recently celebrated its
84th anniversary. Designed and built by Fred Walker in 1922, it possesses a unique layout which never strays far from the resort complex. The beauty of the course is enhanced by mature coniferous and stately oaks, which on many holes play a part in narrowing the fairways and approaches to the greens.
